Discovered by the Masai tribesman and revered as a 'gift from the Gods' its legend is told that it preserves youthfulness and improves vitality. Tanzanite can only be found in Tanzania, Africa and therefore is one of the rarest gemstones in the world. Its colour hue ranges from light blue or lilac to deep indigo and violet.
